The Willard School participates in the Box Tops for Education program. Willard families are invited to clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating products found in local grocery stores and put them in the collection box in the Main Office. More information and a list of participating products is available at the Box Tops for Education site, www.boxtops4education.com.

Willard earns 10¢ for each Box Top redeemed. During the 2008-2009 school year, Willard families collected enough Box Tops to earn over $1,111 for Willard. This money went directly to support Willard PTG programs, such as Assemblies, Earth Care and Chess Clubs, the Spelling Bee, Science Fair, and Family Math Night, Field Trips, and special items requested by teachers. As of the middle of May, we have earned $648 (a total of 6405 box tops!) through Box Tops for Education this year - there is still time to earn more!

Throughout the school year, the Willard PTG runs various Box Tops contests. Generally, the contests award prizes to the class that collects the most Box Tops at each grade level. Prizes may include special class events, such as extra recess or special parties.

• 2 - Lehn - 296 box tops
• 3 - Fitzgerald - 494 box tops
• 4 - Squire - 42 box tops
• 5 - Lyons - 116 box tops

Current Contest

The FINAL contest of the 2009-2010 School year ends June 11th. So submit your Box tops now. Place your Box Tops coupons in an envelope or baggie. Write your grade and teacher name on the outside of the envelope or baggie, and then place it in the collection box in the main office. As you can see from the last contest results - it may not take many Box Tops for your class to win! And every Box Top submitted means money for the school!
