June 2010	METCO Ice Cream Flyer	Invitation to the 2010 METCO Ice Cream Social event, to be held at the Alcott school playground on Tuesday, June 15th at 3:00 pm.
	SAC Election Information	Information about election of members of the 2010-2012 School Adivsory Council. Includes a description of the Council and brief statments from each of the candidates. Offical ballots, which are numbered, came home in backpacks and must be returned by noon on Friday, June 18th.
May 2010	5th Grade Arts Night Invitation	Invitation to the 2010 Fifth Grade Arts Night, to be held Wednesday, June 9th. The evening begins with an Art Retrospective Open House starting at 6pm, followed by a concert by the schoosl orchestra, band, and chorus at 7pm. The entire Willard Community is invited to attend.

	Art Retrospective Letter Home	Information for 5th graders about the 5th Grade Art Retrospective and how to select artwork to include. The artwork will be exhibited June 1-11th and the Art Retrospective event will be held on Wednesday, June 9th.
	Healthy Lunches, Healthy Kids!	Invitation to a presentation by the Nutrition Coalition regarding healthy school lunches. The presentation will be held on Wednesday, May 18th in the Auditorium.
	Get Here Green Flyer Raffle Tickets	Information about Get Here Green Week (May 17-21) and raffle tickets. Students who participate in Get Here Green Week can fill out raffle tickets (one each day); 4 winners will receive $25 gift certificates to Cedar Hill Dairy Joy.

April 2010	Yearbook Flyer	Packet of Information given to all fifth grade students. The Yearbook Flyer describes the 5th Grade Yearbook and provides instructions for completing student personal pages and supplying photos. The Celebration Flyer describes the Celebration and includes a form for ordering T-shirts. The Checklist helps 5th Grade families get all that is needed for the end-of-the-year events done.
April 2010	Open Circle Parent Workshop	Information and Enrollment Form for a free Open Circle Workshop for Parents. The program, facilitated by Sherree Lenkarski, the Alcott School Counselor, will be held five Wednesday evenings (6:30-8pm) starting April 28th in the Alcott Library.
March 2010	Book Club Permission Book Club Flyer	Information and Permission Slip for a Book Group for 4th & 5th graders. The Book Group, facilitated by Principal Pat Fernandes, will meet on three early release Tuesdays (4/13, 5/4, and 5/11) and will discuss Three Cups of Tea (Young Reader’s edition) by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin. Participants will help plan a Pennies for Peace assembly in May. Enrollment is limited to 12.
	Carnival Silent Auction Packet	Information about the Silent Auction that is part of the Willard Carnival. Donations of goods and services are needed. The packet includes donation ideas and the Auction Commitment form.
