Welcome to the 14th Annual Willard Talent Show!  In celebration of April Fool’s Day (which happens to be the same day as this year’s show!  No kidding!), our theme is April Foolin’ Around!

The show date is Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Concord-Carlisle High School Auditorium.

PERFORMERS, WE HAVE REACHED OUR LIMIT OF 50 ACTS!

However, we will EXTEND REGISTRATION TO ADMIT 10 MORE ACTS (sorry, only 10!). 

On Thursday, January 19 at noon, we will briefly re-open registration in order to admit 10 more acts.  Registrations must be received online through the Online Performer Registration form and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

We cannot be responsible for technical issues, delays, or malfunctions on the website during that time.

We know how disappointing this may be for some students and we are truly sorry that participation must be limited.  You may want to consider contacting other parents who have students who have already registered for the show to see if your child could be included in their act.

Want to be on the STAGE CREW?
Sorry, fifth graders only! Stage Crew members quietly move scenery, props, and standing microphones on and off the stage as directed by the adult Backstage Managers.  They are essential to making the show flow smoothly! Fifth grade students may be on the Stage Crew. The Stage Crew can accept only eight participants. Names will be drawn by lottery from the forms submitted by Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Registration forms must be submitted on paper in the box by the Willard Office. (No registrations will be accepted via email or phone.) The Communications Director will notify all Stage Crew applicants of the result by email.  Stage Crew must attend the mandatory Stage Crew meeting during the week of March 19-21 (date to be announced) and Dress Rehearsal.  For more information, see the Stage Crew Lottery Printable Registration Form.

Want to help serve REFRESHMENTS?
Sorry, fourth and fifth graders only! Fourth and Fifth grade students may be on the Refreshment Crew, and will work with high school students at the refreshment tables at intermission distributing snacks and beverages. Registration forms must be submitted on paper in the box by the Willard Office. (No registrations will be accepted via email or phone.) Refreshment Crew members need only attend the afternoon of the show, arriving at 1:30 p.m. For more information, see the Refreshment Crew Printable Registration Form.

Want to be a PERFORMER?

Sorry, registration is now closed.
However, online registration will briefly re-open on
THURSDAY, JANUARY 19 at NOON
to fill 10 remaining openings for acts.

Because of the overwhelming student participation in the Talent Show and the limited number of acts that can be presented during the show, we strongly encourage students to consider creating “group” acts. Only the first 50 acts that register by the registration deadline may participate.  However, there is no limit on the number of performers in an act.

The limit for all acts is 1 and ½ minutes.  Your act will be timed at the Preview Day, so please plan to finish within this limit.  The time limit will be strictly enforced.

VERY IMPORTANT! First, you MUST register your act and sign up for a Preview Day (Tuesday, February 14, 12:30-2:30 p.m. OR Wednesday, February 15, 3:30-5:00 p.m.)
The Preview Days are when the Talent Show Committee sees each act for the first time. Acts/performers are seen "first come, first served" in the order in which the act arrives and signs-in at the Willard Cafeteria. Performers are then called from the Cafeteria to either the Willard Auditorium or Music Practice Room to  preview their act in front of members of the Talent Show Committee.

DRESS REHEARSAL (mandatory) is Friday, March 30, 3:30-9:00 p.m. at the Concord-Carlisle High School Auditorium.
Note: Performers and Stage Crew will be informed of their specific rehearsal times in early to mid-March.

THE TALENT SHOW is Sunday, April 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Concord-Carlisle High School Auditorium.
Note: Performers, Stage Crew, and Refreshment Crew must arrive promptly at 1:30 p.m
