Willard's Chess Club meets weekly before school in the cafeteria. Come play some chess, or learn to play, and meet new friends and old ones. All grades K-5 welcome, and all levels from Beginner thru International Grandmaster. Please send an email to organizer so that you can be sure to receive any chess club announcements and schedule changes. Hope to see you there!

The EarthCare Club, comprised of students in grades 3-5, is committed to leading "green" initiatives at Willard. Projects include implementing a Litter Free Lunch Week and various Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle programs.

The Geography Quest is an annual PTG sponsored event designed to let families explore geography together while learning a bit about history and how to use reference tools. Remember, this is for FUN! It is not another assignment or a contest. It is intended for students of all ages.

The Annual Willard Science Fair is held in the spring.

The Annual Willard Spelling is a PTG sponsored event where 3rd, 4th and 5th graders are encouraged to participate. Third and forth graders compete in teams and fifth graders compete individually.  Admission is free to the fun afternoon filled with friendly competition and educational challenge.

The Talent Show is a wonderful event that showcases the talents and interests of Willard students.
