The Willard PTG is pleased to present another exciting year of cultural enrichment. Included in the roster are several all school artistic assemblies and curricula-related assemblies for each grade level. Thanks to the generosity of the PTG we continue to present high quality programs which supplement and enhance our students’ education. Hip-Hop Dance
Boston dance group Losst Unnown shows off their amazing dancing skills and discusses the ups & downs of hip-hop culture in an inspiring high-energy show.

Karim Nagi
Arabic Music, Dance and Culture
Join Egyptian-American Karim Nagi on an engaging journey to learn about Arab and Muslim culture through a variety of traditional instruments, folk music and traditional dance. Karim uses authentic costumes, maps, Arabic words, lots of audience participation and humor as he enlightens his audience about a captivating world beyond the headlines. Students will clap unique rhythms, dance and celebrate as they learn about these amazing and ancient cultural traditions.

Made in the Shade
Jazz: America’s Music from New Orleans to New York
Made in the Shade will capture the imagination and delight of young listeners as they embark on a musical journey throughout America. Starting in New Orleans with Dixieland, they will make stops in Kansas City, Chicago, and New York to learn about other jazz styles such as swing, blues, bebop, jazz fusion, and Latin jazz.

Award winning storyteller Len Cabral has been enchanting audiences with his unique, personable style at schools, libraries, museums and festivals since 1976. Using mime, poetry, song, humor and vivid characterizations, Len leads the audience on unforgettable journeys.
